Our committees, like our board is made up of non-paid volunteers who are dedicated to the betterment of the community. Joining a committee is an opportunity for you to focus on a particular area that our organization is involved in. Although they deal with one particular area, each member is committed to the success of all of RCA's goals and ultimately the goal of the community. Find one that inspires you to help.

Membership Committee
Did you know that a membership to Rosemoor Community Association, Inc. is an excellent way for you to empower you and your family within your community? What better way to be informed about important information regarding YOUR neighborhood?  Join RCA and start receiving our quarterly newletter and monthly "calling post" general meeting reminder call as well as other important information by simply clicking Membership Application to complete your form today. Our Memberhip fees are extremely affordable. You may also become a member by contacting RCA by phone, email, website or in person at our monthly meetings. 

Events Coordination Committee

Did you know that RCA has lots of events each year? Each of these events require lots of planning, patience and participation. What better way to become an active member of RCA than by volunteering for one of our many events. Please contact our office for more information about which event you would like to participate in and support.

Community Garden Committee / Residental Advisor

Our community reflects us as citizens. Being a part of this committee gives us all the opportunity to keep our neighborhood strong and beautiful. If you are looking to form a block club, this committee can help you. Whether you have a "green thumb" or simply love working in the garden, your participation with our RCA Garden will send the resounding message that we care about where we live.  If you would like to become a volunteer on either committee, please see Lola Davis or Janet Poole for further information on how you can help.

Marketing and Public Relations Committee
This committee helps make the organization better known. It helps to put together posters and fliers and keeps in close contact with the local press. Want a partnership with Rosemoor? You can do this by contacting our office directly.

MLK Gateway Initiative Committee

Love the idea of continuing the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. by honoring him within our very own Rosemoor Community? This committee is for you!!! Phase I occured in August 2011 when we held our memorial bridge dedication ceremony. An official "Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Bridge" sign was installed on January 15, 2013 and was ceremoniously "unveiled" on April 13, 2013.  Join forces with Angela Ware to move to phase II of our MLK Gateway Initiative. Help with upcoming events that honor this prestigious civil rights leader.
